An easy dessert and crowd pleaser. Can be done with bananas as in recipe but works well with all kinds of fresh fruit, chocolate sauce and whipped cream.
Crepes
Crepes are a french staple. Best served with fresh fruit, but can be made sweet or savory
Ingredients
Crepes
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup whole milk
- 1/3 cup water
- 1 cup flour
- 2 TBSP sugar
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 2 TBSP butter
Caramelized Bananas
- 2 Bananas
- 2 TBSP butter
- 2 TBSP Light Brown Sugar

Making Crepes

Put eggs, milk, water, flour, sugar, salt and softened butter into a blender (or melt butter and then whisk all of the ingredients together

Blend until smooth, should be the consistency of heavy cream

Preheat Oven to 200 for storing crepes as then come out of the pan

Heat a big non-stick pan over medium-low heat until water sizzles

Take 1/4 cup of batter and put into pan, swirling the batter in all directions until its evenly spread and thickens.

Cook for 90 seconds until edges brown

Flip and cook another 60 seconds

Transfer to oven to keep warm. Use a little extra butter to keep the pan non-stick
