Saucepans

Rinse the Berries, clean them and hull them.

Chop them into about 6 pieces per strawberry. You want them all the same size if possible.

Place in saucepan and cover with water. Bring to a boil. Then simmer for 20 minutes

Skim off any foam that rises to the top.

After 20 minutes, berries will have lost their color. Remove from heat. Strain the mixture into a 2nd sauce pan. Removing the solids.

Add the sugar. Bring back to a boil to make sure sugar fully dissolves.

Add Lemon juice and store in a glass bottle.
You can thicken by reducing farther for pancakes that the like.
